Birthday flowers are the easiest thing to get right and the easiest thing to make forgettable. The forgettable version is a generic mixed arrangement in a generic vase. The good version starts with one sentence about the person — she wears a lot of orange, he hates anything pink, they just moved into a tiny apartment — and we build from there.
Colour is the whole game. Birthdays are the one occasion where nobody expects restraint, so this is where we send the loud stuff: marigold and craspedia, hot pinks, tropical ginger and celosia. If you want something calmer, say so, but bright is usually the right instinct.

What flowers are best for a birthday?
Bright and seasonal. Gerbera, marigold, craspedia, tulips in cool months, tropicals in summer. There is no traditional birthday flower, which is freeing — pick by the person, not by convention.
Can I get birthday flowers delivered the same day in Tampa?
Yes, order by 1 PM for delivery that afternoon anywhere in our 10-mile range. We are open 24 hours, so you can place the order at any hour.
What if I do not know what they like?
Tell us their age, roughly, and anything at all about their taste. That is enough. Most of our birthday orders are placed by someone who says “I have no idea” and they come out fine.
Can you include a card message?
Yes, handwritten. Read it to us on the phone. We will not edit your wording, including the bad jokes.
Do you do belated birthday flowers?
Often better than on-time ones, honestly. Everyone sends things on the day and then it stops. A bouquet three days late gets a room to itself.
